By importing user data into Google Analytics using Analysis Engine, you can segment your users by their subscription level or customer type, or synchronize data with your CRM system to view more detailed information about known visitors.
With user data imports in Analysis Engine, you can:
- Associate metadata with individual visitors to your site, such as their subscription level, customer type or market.
- View visitors by lead status, or whether or not they represent an upsell opportunity.
- View the activities of key customers or leads on your site, by company, using your CRM data.*
- Automate the importing of new user data into Google Analytics to integrate CRM data with Google Analytics
(*Note: You cannot upload personally identifiable information into Google Analytics. Instead, you can upload user types and profiles or use identifiers from other systems, such as CRM, to identify web traffic using data exported from Google Analytics.)
